It's not over yet...

Over the last couple of days I've been feeling a bit glum about the end of summer and it seems I'm not the only one. My Bloglovin feed is full of blog posts reflecting my feelings, sad that's summer is over, reminiscing on good times had and looking forward to the Autumn to come.

But all this lamenting the change in season a little premature?

I work in central Bristol and I'm lucky enough to have to walk through the beautiful Castle Park everyday. I thought I'd share a few photos I took while on my lunch break this week.

Beautiful sunshine on the river

I love this hill of meadow flowers, I have a feeling these were planted to help save the bees.

As I spend a lot of time in the park (and don't have a garden) it's really become my measure of the changing seasons, whether there are blossoms on the trees or the leaves are falling so judging from these pictures I'd say there's a few sunny strolls and lunches on the grass left in this summer yet!

And my perfect soundtrack to late summer lazy lunch breaks.......
